Anne Favolise is one of America’s top collegiate race walkers. Starting in the Maine high school program, Favolise began seriously training for race walking when her high school added it to their track and field program during her sophomore year. Excelling early, Favolise traveled quite a bit to race against America’s best at the National Scholastic Championships, Junior Olympics, Penn Relays, and U.S. Junior Nationals.

By her freshman year at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, she had begun to break into the Senior ranks. She placed 5 th at the U.S. 3K Indoor Nationals and has since progressed to the U.S. 20K Outdoor Nationals. Favolise’s future looks bright; she may well be America’s hope for the 2008 Olympics.
