STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Bend Down and Sweep Arms

 

Purpose:
Loosen up the upper body
Steps:
  1. Stand with your feet at shoulder's length apart.
  2. Hold one arm in front of the body the other behind, as shown.
  3. Swing the arms forward and back as you bend down and stand up.
  4. Perform this exercise for 20-30 seconds.

Please consult your doctor before trying any of these stretches.
Beginner walkers may find them too stressful
