STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Side Leg Swing

Purpose:

Improve Hip Flexibility
Steps:
  1. Lean against a wall or tree.
  2. Swing leg up and in front of the body at the same time as swinging the arm on the same side of your body back.
  3. Kick leg back as high as possible as the arm swings forward.
  4. Perform this exercise 10 times for each leg.

Please consult your doctor before trying any of these stretches.
Beginner walkers may find them too stressful.
