STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Swing Arms and Bend Down

 

Purpose:
Loosen up the upper body
Steps:
  1. Stand with your feet at shoulder's length apart.
  2. Hold both arms at shoulder length and to the side of the body.
  3. Swing the arms down and allow them to criss cross in front of the body as you bend down.
  4. Perform this exercise for 20-30 seconds.

Please consult your doctor before trying any of these stretches.
Beginner walkers may find them too stressful.
