STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Hip Rock
- Purpose:
- Improve Hip Flexibility
- Steps:
-
- Place one hand against a wall or a tree for balance.
- Place the other hand on your hip.
- Keep the front foot on the ground.
- Rock back and forth; extending your hip and rolling up onto your
back toe.
- Perform this exercise 10 times for each leg.
Please consult your doctor before trying any of these
stretches.
Beginner walkers may find them too stressful.
