STANDING WARM-UP DRILLS
Side Leg Swing
Purpose:
- Improve Hip Flexibility
- Steps:
-
- Lean against a wall or tree.
- Swing leg up and in front of the body at the same time as
swinging the arm on the same side of your body back.
- Kick leg back as high as possible as the arm swings forward.
- Perform this exercise 10 times for each leg.
Please consult your doctor before trying any of these
stretches.
Beginner walkers may find them too stressful.
